Grenade blast injures 4 in Burundi's capital

At least four people were seriously injured in a Wednesday grenade explosion that targeted a household in Kanyosha in the Burundian capital Bujumbura, witnesses told Xinhua Thursday.

"The grenade blast occurred around 20:00 (18:00 GMT) inside a house at the 2nd Avenue in Kanyosha near a bar. Four persons including a man, his wife and two children were seriously injured during the grenade blast," said the witnesses who declined to be named.

The perpetrator of the grenade attack ran away after the attack and has not yet been arrested. Endit
