Uganda's cricket team prepares for World Cup qualifier

Uganda's Under 19 cricket team has traveled to neighboring Kenya for three international friendly matches that they will use to prepare ahead of the World Cup qualifiers in Malaysia.

Justine Ligyalingi, the Uganda Cricket Association Chief Executive Officer said on Wednesday that the games scheduled for Sept. 9-13 will help to pick the final squad for the International Cricket Council U-19 World Cup qualifiers next month.

Five nations Nepal, Papua New Guinea, USA, Ireland and Uganda will compete for one slot to qualify for the ICC Youth World Cup slated for India next year. Endit
