BiH to make action plan over possible influx of refugees

Xinhua, September 7, 2015 Adjust font size:

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will discuss an action plan to deal with a possible influx of refugees, said BiH Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic here on Monday.

"I believe it will be adopted this week with very clear guidelines of activities of our institutions," said Zvizdic.

The Ministry of Security and Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees has already worked on the plan, local media reported.

For now, BiH is not on the route refugees are taking, said Zvizdic, adding BiH will be ready for the possible arrival of refugees nevertheless.

"We will be ready for that option and we will welcome people who are running away from war, secure accommodation for them and meet their basic needs until their status is resolved," he said. Endit
