Djokovic held off Seppi into US Open fourth round

No. 1 Novak Djokovic beat No. 25 seed Andreas Seppi 6-3, 7-5, 7-5 to enter the final 16 of US Open here on Friday.

"At the beginning, first set, I was struggling. I managed to break through and felt better after that. Generally it was a really, really tough three sets. Just glad to get through this one," said Djokovic, the nine-time Grand Slam champion.

The third-round win puts Djokovic at 23-1 in Grand Slam play this year and into the fourth round of a major for the 26th consecutive time. Endi
