Chinese shooter Zhang wins 2nd World Cup Final gold

Chinese shooter Zhang Jingjing claimed her second World Cup Finals title when she defeated Mongolia's Gundegmaa Otryad 7-3 in the women's 25m pistol gold medal match at the 2015 ISSF World Cup Finals in Munich on Saturday.
Zhang, 26, first won the ISSF World Cup Finals title in 2013. The most prominent athlete in the women's 25m pistol event in recent years, Zhang has won almost every major competitions including the world championships and the 2014 Asian Games. She is considered as one of the hottest favorites to win the event at next year's Rio Olympics.
Zhang was joined by fellow countrywoman Cao Lija on the podium Saturday. The 18-year-old Cao outscored Lin Yuemei, also from China, in the bronze medal match by eight against nil points.
In the men's 25m rapid fire pistol event, 19-year-old Frenchman Jean Quiquampoix upset a field of senior opponents to claim his first world title in adult-level competitions.
The ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup Finals are being held at the 1972 Olympic shooting range of Munich (GER) from Sept. 2 to 7. The best 85 shooters selected throughout this year's ISSF World Cup Stages in Changwon (South Korea), Fort Benning (United States), Munich (Germany) and Gabala (Azerbaijan) compete against the reigning world champions and the title defenders for the ISSF World Cup titles.
