Flight launched between Dubai and SW China hub

Sichuan Airlines launched a flight connecting Dubai with southwestern hub Chengdu amid closer economic ties between China and United Arab Emirates.

The new flight between Dubai and Chengdu is scheduled every Tuesday and Friday.

According to DIFC, about 241,000 Chinese tourists spent at least one night in Dubai in the first half of 2015, up 25 percent than the same period a year earlier.

China became Dubai's largest trade partner last year with the amount of bilateral trade increasing 29 percent annually to 47.9 billion U.S. dollars. Endi
