Sri Lanka's national cricket team coach Marvan Atapattu has resigned from his post, the Sri Lanka Cricket board said on Thursday.

The cricket board said Atapattu's resignation has been accepted and they wished him well for his future plans.

Atapattu's resignation comes as the Sri Lanka cricket team suffered a humiliating series loss to the visiting Indian cricket team recently. Endi
