Brazilian international Dante Bonfim Costas Santos moved from Bayern Munich to league rivals Wolfsburg, both clubs confirmed via the clubs official homepages on Sunday.

The 31-year-old center back agreed on a three-year deal, that keeps him until June 2018 with the "Wolves".

"We want to thank Dante. Bayern experienced with him a very successful time with many great moments and titles," Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.

Dante played a minor part in Josep Guariola's squad planning recently. The Brazilian provided three assists and goals in 85 Bundesliga appearances. He scored overall 11 goals in 179 Bundesliga matches and is since 2013 part of Brazil's national squad.

Wolfsburg face Bundesliga newcomers Ingolstadt at the fourth round in Bundesliga on September 12. Endi
