Death toll from a truck crash involving young girls has risen to 65, the Swaziland Solidarity Network reported on Saturday

The truck, which was carrying the girls on their way to cut reeds for the annual Umhlanga (ceremony) Reed Dance in Swaziland, crashed near a border area in Mbabane, capital of Swaziland late Friday, said the report. (Swaziland-Truck Crash)

BUDAPEST -- Hungarian police have detained a fifth suspect due to the deaths of 71 refugees who apparently suffocated in a closed Hungarian-owned truck on an Austrian motorway south of Vienna, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) announced on Sunday.

The suspect, a Bulgarian citizen, was detained on Saturday night, the NBI reported on its website, but did not say where the male suspect had been apprehended. (Hungary-Migrant Crisis)

TOKYO -- Some 120,000 people rallied and surrounded Japan's parliament building here on Sunday, demanding Prime Minister Shinzo Abe rescind the controversial security bills.

Political heavyweight Ichiro Ozawa, who also serves as a co-head of the People's Life Party, and other opposition leaders also participated in the largest rally recently seen in Tokyo. BAGHDAD -- A total of 25 people were killed and 23 wounded on Sunday in clashes with Islamic State (IS) militants and air strikes by U.S.-led coalition in Iraq, security sources said.

In Iraq's western province of Anbar, an Iraqi army force clashed in the morning with IS militants near the town of Baghdadi, some 200 km northwest of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. The battle left seven soldiers killed and 12 others wounded, a provincial security source said on condition of anonymity. (Iraq-IS-Attacks)

ADEN -- Unidentified gunmen opened fire and killed a high-ranking security official in Yemen's southern port city of Aden on Sunday morning, a military official told Xinhua.

Colonel Abdul-Hakim Sunidi, chief of Aden's security operations, was attacked along Reemy street when gunmen, riding motorcycles, opened fire from automatic rifles and killed him at the scene in Aden's neighborhood of Mansoura, the local military official said on condition of anonymity.
