Japanese, Vietnamese runners dominate Da Nang International Marathon

Japanese and Vietnamese runners dominated Da Nang International Marathon 2015, in which 5,000 athletes from 24 countries worldwide and various localities in Vietnam participating on Sunday .

Japan's Koji Nishizawa won the men's Full Marathon (42.159 km) while Vietnamese Hoang Thi Thanh came in first in the women's category. Le Van Tuan from Vietnam took the title of the men's 21-kilometer division and Japanese Uekuma Hiromi finished first in the women's category.

Da Nang International Marathon 2015, also including a 5-kilometer fun run and walk, is the first professional Marathon in Vietnam certified by IAAF-AIMS (International Association of Athletics Federations and Association of International Marathons and Distance Races).

It was co-organized by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism and the US firm World Marathon Tours. Endi
