New flights link Harbin, Hong Kong

Xinhua, August 30, 2015 Adjust font size:

Shenzhen Airlines will start offering direct passenger flights between Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, and Hong Kong on Sept. 23.

Three flights will operate each week with a stop-over in Yantai City in the eastern province of Shandong, the airline's Harbin office announced.

It will be the only direct flight between the two cities after the cancellation of a Hong Kong-Harbin flight operated by Hong Kong Airlines.

The flights on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays are expected to boost exchanges between northeast China and Hong Kong in fields of economy and tourism, among others. Endi
