Macao's chief executive to attend V-Day celebration in Beijing

Chief Executive Chui Sai On of China 's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) will lead a delegation to Beijing to attend celebration events marking the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II and the victory of the war of China's resistance against Japan.

The 100-member delegation will include officials of Macao SAR government and representatives from all walks of life, and the delegation will be in Beijing from Sept. 2 to 4.

A series of celebration events, including a military parade, will be held in Beijing to mark the anniversary.

Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak will be acting chief executive while Chui is in Beijing. Endi
