Urgent: India sends satellite aboard GSLV rocket

India's Geostationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) lifted off from the Sriharikota spaceport at 16:52 p.m. local time Thursday, carrying communication satellite GSAT-6.

This is be the ninth flight of the GSLV and the third flight using a cryogenic engine. Endi
