In a joint operation with Spain, Morocco arrested 13 people on Tuesday suspected of recruiting and sending Moroccan fighters to the ranks of the Islamic State (IS), the Interior Ministry said.

The joint operation also led to the arrest of the main partner of the cell who lives in the outskirts of Madrid, the ministry pointed out in a statement.(Morocco-IS-Recruit Arrest)

ANKARA -- Turkey will hold a snap elections on November 1, said Sadi Guven, chairman of Turkey's Supreme Electoral Council, in a statement on Tuesday.

SOFIA -- The U.S. Army has sent to Bulgaria armored vehicles and other equipment to participate in a joint multinational drill to be held in September and October, officials said here on Tuesday.

ANKARA -- Turkey and the United States have concluded "technical talks" on military operations and sealed a deal against Islamic State (IS) group, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Tuesday.

The U.S. and Turkish military have signed the agreement, the minister told reporters in the Turkish capital Ankara, but he did not give further details on when U.S.-Turkish joint operations against the IS will start.(Turkey-US-Deal)

ABUJA -- Five people have so far been confirmed killed by a teenage female suicide bomber who, early Tuesday, attacked a bus station in northeastern Damaturu city, capital of Nigeria's Yobe State, a government spokesman said.

About 25 others were injured in the attack carried out by the suicide bomber at the Central Motor park in the city, according to Abdullahi Bego, a spokesman of the Yobe State government, who confirmed the incident to Xinhua.(Nigeria-Suicide Bomber) Endi
