French stock market index down 1.75 pct on Wednesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 dropped by 1.75 percent to close at 4,884.10 points on Wednesday, down 87.15 points.

Over the worries about the world economic growth, the CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Wednesday with all of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Wednesday were Renault, down 3.43 percent, Peugeot, down 3.32 percent, and LVMH, down 3.02 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped slightly by 0.27 percent to close at 4,971.25 points, down 13.58 points. Endit
