Marseille names Michel as new coach

Xinhua, August 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

French Ligue 1 club Marseille announced Wednesday that Spaniard Michel has been appointed to guide the team for the new season.

"It is official. Jose Miguel Gonzalez del Campo is the coach of OM," Marseille announced on their Twitter account.

The 52-year-old Miguel will succeed Marcelo Bielsa on a reported two-year deal.

Starting his coaching career in 2005 with Rayo Vallecano, the former Spanish international midfielder had coached La Liga sides Getafe and Sevilla before spending two years at Olympiacos from 2013 to 2015. Endi
