Xinhua, August 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

Myanmar Tennis Federation is seeking talented tennis players from 60 townships across the country, according to the federation on Wednesday.

The federation hopes to nurture around 10,000 tennis players from 60 targeted townships in Myanmar.

Of them, 170 talented players will be recruited in the process.

Playing tennis in other Southeast Asian countries begins at the age of 5, whereas most players in Myanmar first pick up a racket at 8, an official of the federation said. Endit
