Chinese stocks close higher on Wednesday

Chinese shares regained territory on Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.23 percent to close at 3,794.11 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 2.18 percent to close at 12,960.66. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, rose 2.66 percent to end at 2,570.69. Enditem
