Japan posts 268.1 bln yen trade deficit in July

Japan's goods trade deficit for July stood at 268.1 billion yen (about 2.16 billion U.S. dollars), the Japanese Finance Ministry said Wednesday.

In a preliminary report, the ministry said that the country's exports, on a customs-cleared basis, rose 7.6 percent from a year earlier, while imports dropped 3.2 percent. Endi
