African boxing championships kicks off in Morocco

The African Confederation Boxing Championships opened on Tuesday.

The continental championships, which will be held till 24 in the coastal city of Casablanca, brings together more than a hundred boxers from 19 African nations.

The competition serves as qualifiers for the world championships set for October in Qatar, and it is also the first round of qualifiers on the road to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil. Endi
