Estonian parliament approves Greek bailout plan

The Estonian Parliament approved the latest Greek bailout plan in an extraordinary session on Tuesday, with 50 votes in favour and 37 against, according to Estonian Public Broadcasting (ERR).

The Estonian Parliament held the special session after a meeting of the Parliament's European Union Affairs Committee (ELAK) and the Finance Committee on Monday.

According to the EU's agreement, Greece will receive up to 86 billion euros from the the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) in a three-year period, in exchange for harsh austerity terms. Endit
