Croatian international Kovacic joins Real Madrid

Spanish giants Real Mardrid has signed Croatian international midfielder Mateo Kovacic from Inter Milan, the club announced on Tuesday.

"Real Madrid and Inter Milan have agreed the transfer of Mateo Kovacic, who will be tied to the club for the next six seasons," Madrid said in a statement.

Starting his porfessional career from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb, the 21-year-old Kovacic moved to Inter in 2013 and scored eight goals in 80 Serie A matches.

The promising playmaker has already earned 21 international caps for Coratia including representing his country at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Endi
