Bayern Munich overcame courageous third division club Dynamo Dresden 3-1 in a test match on Monday.

Three days after the successful start into the Bundesliga season 2015-2016, the "Bavarians" defeated third division front-runners Dynamo Dresden thanks to the goals by Arjen Robben, Arturo Vidal and Juan Bernat. Pascal Testroet scored the consolation for the hosts in front of 30,730 spectators just before the end of the match.

Pep Guardiola's men played partly with youngsters, still the visitors earned the first chances through Robben, who came close twice in the opening period. The Dutchman scored the opener finally with 17 minutes into the game after slotting home a through ball into the far post corner.

Dresden remained unimpressed and tried to hold the pace with the German record champions. However, the host remained wasteful at the finish, allowing Bayern to double the lead after the restart, as Vidal's shot on target was deflected unstoppable at the 48th minute.

Bayern kept it bowling and tripled the lead through Bernat before Dresden's Testroet reduced the arrears 3-1 to mark the final score with four minutes remaining on the game clock.

Guardiola's men encounter Hoffenheim at the second round in Bundesliga on Saturday. Endi
