Tokyo shares end mixed by break lacking driving cues

Tokyo shares ended the morning session mixed on Friday as the markets lacked of driving cues.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average inched down 38.34 points, or 0.19 percent, from Thursday to 20,557.21.

But the broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange edged up 0.17 points, or 0.01 percent, to 1, 668.12. Endi
