Chinese shares open higher Friday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.55 percent to open at 3,976.41 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.76 percent higher at 13,497.16.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 1.1 percent higher at 2,713.78 points. Endi
