37 militants killed in latest Afghan military operations: official

Some 37 militants have been killed in latest military operations conducted by Afghan army, an official said on Thursday. "During operations in the past 24 hours, 37 insurgents were killed, 37 terrorists wounded and two others were detained,"Gen. Zahir Azimi, spokesman of Defense Ministry, said on his twitter account.

He also confirmed that eight army personnel were also killed within the same period.
