The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected five Ugandans on various standing committees for the period 2015-2017.

This committee will be headed by the CAF President himself Issa Hayatou and his Vice President Mohamed Raoouraoua (Algeria) will be the second in command.

Former President of the Uganda FA and now Vice President of the Council for East and Central African Football Associations (Cecafa), Lawrence Mulindwa has been selected on the organising committee for the U-20 African Championship. The committee will be headed by Mali' s FA President Amadou Diakite.

Zambia' s greatest footballer and now the FA President Kalusha Bwalya will head the organising committee for the U-17 African Championship.

Watson said he was also happy to be selected as a member on the technical and development committee. The committee also has two other members from the Cecafa region Magdi Shams El Din and Mohamed Abdallah Magzoub all from Sudan.
