Napoli in bid for Corinthians defender

Xinhua, August 12, 2015 Adjust font size:

Napoli have made a five million-euro bid for Corinthians centre-back Felipe, according to media reports in Brazil.

The Sao Paulo outfit have placed a six million-euro price tag on the 26-year-old, Diariosp reported on Tuesday.

Citing a source involved in the negotiations, the newspaper added that the "difference between Corinthians' request and Napoli's offer should be resolved in the coming days".

Felipe has made 28 appearances for Corinthians since joining the club from non-league club Coimbra in 2012.

He has also been linked to Napoli's Italian rivals Udinese and Atalanta. Endi
