Dollar trades in lower 124 yen range in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 124 yen range in early Tokyo trading Monday, slightly above late Friday levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 124.35-43 yen compared with 124.15-25 yen in New York and 124.78-80 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.0957-0958 dollars and 136.25-26 yen against 1.0960-0970 dollars and 136.14-24 yen in New York and 1.0939-0941 dollars and 136.50-54 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endi
