At least 11 people were killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen on the village of Gaberi in northern Mali, sources told Xinhua.

Army spokesman Souleymane Maiga confirmed to Xinhua Sunday that the gunmen has killed 10 villagers. (Mali-Attack)

ANKARA -- Six F-16 fighters arrived at Incirlik Air Base in Adada province in southern Turkey on Sunday, private Dogan news agency reported.

CAIRO -- A policeman and a recruit were killed and three others injured on Sunday as a blast targeted their armored vehicle in Arish city of Egypt's North Sinai province, the Egyptian interior ministry said.

The attack came one day after a policeman was shot dead and three others wounded when two unknown militants opened fire at their police vehicle on Fayoum-Cairo highway. (Egypt-Blast)

KABUL -- A suicide bombing organized by Taliban militants in Khanabad district of the northern Kunduz province with Kunduz city as its capital 250 km north of Kabul on Saturday night left 29 people dead and injured 19 others, a local official said Sunday.

"Our investigation has confirmed that the suicide bombing in Khanabad district claimed 29 lives and injured 19 others on Saturday night," deputy to district governor, Qudratullah Safi told reporters. (Afghanistan-Taliban-Attack)

BAGHDAD -- The Iraqi cabinet on Sunday approved a package of crucial reform plan presented by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in response to recent demonstrations against corruption and poor services.
