Russia wins 4 golds at Hungarian Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup

The Hungarian Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup continued in Budapest on Sunday with four individual and two team finals. Russia won four gold medals, while Italy and Ukraine earned a gold medal each.

Russia's Yana Kudryavtseva captured the hoop and ball gold medals ahead of her teammate Margarita Mamun who took silver in both events and then went on to win gold in the clubs contest ahead of Ukraine's silver medalist Anna Rizatdinova. Rizatdinova in turn, won the ribbon final, taking gold and again relegating Mamun to silver.

Kudryavtseva won the hoop with 19.050 points, and the ball with 19.200 points. Mamun won the clubs with 18.900 points, while Rizatdinova won the ribbon with 18.550 points.

In the team contests, Russia took gold with 5 ribbons ahead of silver medalist Belarus and bronze medalist Israel. Italy won gold in the 6 clubs and 2 hoops while Belarus again took silver, and Russia won bronze. Both Russia and Italy got 17.650 points.

The World Cup, featuring athletes from 33 countries, kicked off on Friday. Endit
