Chinese VP asks HK youth to support regional government

Xinhua, August 8, 2015 Adjust font size:

Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao on Saturday encouraged Hong Kong youth to consider the regional development "with a broader vision" and support the administration of the Hong Kong government.

Li made the statement while meeting with an innovation and entrepreneurship-themed delegation of young people from Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, headed by the New Home Association.

"Hong Kong and its homeland are always a community of common destiny," he said, adding people are striving to achieve the Chinese dream of national revival, which provides growth and opportunities for Hong Kong.

Li encouraged the young people to focus on their careers and make new contributions to the development of Hong Kong and the motherland. Endit
