5.2-magnitude quake jolts Ibaraki, NE Japan, no tsunami warnings

A 5.2-magnitude quake jolted coastal area in Japan's northeastern Ibaraki Prefecture on Thursday with no danger of tsunami, said Japan's weather agency.

The quake was felt in Tokyo and was marked at level 4 on Japan' s seismic intensity scale of 7 in some parts in Ibaraki, according to Japan's Meteorological Agency.

The temblor took place at around 6:28 p.m. local time with a depth of 60 km.
