Dollar trades around 124 yen in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded around the 124 yen range in Tokyo on Tuesday, little changed from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 123.95-96 yen compared with 123.98-124.08 yen in New York and 124.17-19 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.0951-0951 dollars and 135.74-77 yen against 1.0946-0956 dollars and 135.72-82 yen in New York and 1.0969-0970 dollars and 136.21-25 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Endi
