Hong Kong Airlines to fly to Australia

Hong Kong Airlines will launch its first service to Australia on January 8, the company announced on Friday.

The service runs from Hong Kong to Gold Coast, and continues to Cairns en route back to Hong Kong, the company said.

Three flights will be provided each week, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Li Dianchun, commercial director of Hong Kong Airlines, said the route is designed to cater to growing demand for travel to the popular tourist destinations of Gold Coast and Cairns. Endi
