The Czech Labor Office will financially support commuters from areas with high unemployment and few job offers as of next year, Labor and Social Affairs Minister Michaela Marksova said on Tuesday.
Marksova said the state wanted to support people commuting to work, stressing that a similar system was operating in the past and they want to offer this possibility to people again.
She said the details of the system, such as the areas and sums concerned, are currently being discussed.
Marksova also proposed that miners working for a certain number of years could have the right to retire five years earlier, but it was against by Czech Finance Minister Andrej Babis. The issue was submitted to the Czech government for further discuss. Endit
