Nepal condemns terror attack in India

Nepal condemned on Tuesday the recent terrorist attack in the northern Indian state of Punjab.

In a message to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nepal's Prime Minister Sushil Koirala expressed sorrow and grief on the loss of innocent lives in the terrorist attack, the prime minister 's office said.

"Nepal strongly condemns terrorism in all its form and manifestations. Terrorism is a big enemy to peace, stability, democracy and development. Terrorism is a common disease. The cowardly and senseless act of terrorism must therefore be fought firmly and unequivocally," the prime minister said in his message.

Ten people including four policemen and three civilians were killed, and seven others wounded Monday in the attack on a police station in northern Indian state of Punjab. Endi
