Devastating landslides caused by heavy rains hit many houses in Bangladesh's southeastern hilly district Cox's Bazaar Monday morning, killing at least 5 people and leaving over a dozen others injured.

Heavy rains swept through the Cox's Bazaar, some 391 km away of capital Dhaka, and have triggered huge landslides since Sunday. (Bangladesh-Landslide)

MOGADISHU -- An armed police officer of the Chinese embassy here has been confirmed killed in Sunday's suicide car bombing attack at Jazera Hotel.
