New air route to link SW China's Guangxi, Cebu

Xinhua, July 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

A direct air route between Nanning, capital city of southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Cebu in the Philippines will be launched by Philippine Airlines on July 29, Nanning airport announced on Sunday.

An Airbus A320 aircraft, which has 180 seats, will serve the new route, authorities with Nanning airport said. There will be a chartered round-trip flight every five days.

Cebu is one of the top tourist destinations in southeast Asia due to its tropical beaches.

The air route between Nanning and Bali in Indonesia was launched earlier this month. The new airlines are expected to boost tourism in southeast Asia this summer. Endi
