4 killed in shooting in Atlanta, U.S.

Four people, including two children under 10 years old and a woman, were shot and killed in a shooting incident, which took place on Wednesday at a residence in suburbs of Atlanta, the capital of U.S. State of Georgia, U.S. media reported.

According to ABC news, local police officers received a call from a concerned relative from another county around 6 a.m. after the relative received a call from someone inside the house, along the Old Atlanta Road about 50 km northeast of the city.

By the time police got to the scene, they found three people dead inside the home, two children, the shooter, an adult male. One adult female was rushed to the hospital but also died. the report said.

A second adult male is in critical condition at a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, it added.

The police is conducting investigation over the cause of the incident. Endite
