Albania destroys 1,200 cannabis plants

The Albanian police operation encoded "Verjon 2015" on July 18-19 has resulted in destruction of more than 1,200 narcotic plants in Kruja, 30 km north of the capital city Tirana.

Sources from police said that police station of Kruja has launched a raid for preventing and hitting the narcotics trafficking.

During a raid in the village of Verjon, police detected six plots planted with around 1,270 cannabis sativa grown up to a height of nearly 8-80 cm. Enditem
