Singapore's IVA up 1.1 pct in May year-on-year

Singapore's International Visitor Arrivals (IVA) increased 1.1 percent in May from a year ago to 1.22 million, said Singapore Tourism Board (STB) on Thursday.

The 1.1 percent growth is the first monthly increase since February 2014, according to data on STB's website.

Visitors from China rose 47.1 percent on a year-on-year basis, while those from Indonesia declined 10.9 percent. Both China and Indonesia are key markets for Singapore. Endi
