French stock market index up 1.94 pct

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 1.94 percent to close at 4,998.10 points on Monday, up 95.03 points.

With Eurozone leaders reaching an agreement with Greece on Monday in Brussels, the CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Monday with 39 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The only company whose stock dropped on Monday was Peugeot, down 0.62 percent.

The top three gainers on Monday were Vivendi, up 3.78 percent, Airbus Group, up 3.11 percent, and Credit Agricole, up 3.01 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 3.07 percent to close at 4,903.07 points, up 145.85 points. Endit
