Czech Republic provides humanitarian aid to Palestine

Xinhua, July 14, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Czech government on Monday approved a proposal submitted by the Foreign Ministry under which it will provide development aid worth 12 million crowns (500,000 U.S. dollars) to Palestine.

The money will be used to pay for the roof photovoltaic panels at nine schools and hospitals in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. This will cut the operational costs at the schools and hospitals and increase their energy sufficiency.

The donation of the Czech Republic will be distributed between 2015 and 2017. Endit
