Two killed in suspected explosion in east England

Two people have died in an industrial incident Monday morning in Norfolk, eastern England, local police confirmed.

The Norfolk Constabulary said two men, one in his 50s and another in his 20s were confirmed dead according to initial reports from the scene, which suggested an explosion had taken place at around 9:20 a.m. local time (0820 GMT).

Police said the two men, who were thought to be working at an industrial premises on Spar Road, died shortly after the incident. So far, there have been no reports of any injured people.

The incident happened at a company called Harford Attachments. Meanwhile, staff have been evacuated to nearby area, local media said.

Roads around the scene have been blocked, local police said. Endit
