Atleast 30 injured in bus collision in Sri Lanka

At least 30 people were injured when two passenger buses collided in Gonahena, 21 km away from capital Colombo on Saturday morning, police said.

Police spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara told Xinhua that among those injured, three were in critical condition and transferred to the Colombo National Hospital.

The remaining 27 were admitted to the Horana Hospital.

Police arrested the driver of one of the buses who was held responsible for the accident.
