Sri Lanka's ruling United National Party (UNP) Saturday announced key policies which it hopes to adopt if it wins the parliamentary elections scheduled to be held next month.

UNP leader and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said the policies would include sharing power to provinces.

Speaking at a UNP special convention in the capital, Wickremesinghe said he believes that every community should be able to enjoy equal rights. The UNP leader also said a UNP government will also look to legalize a special unit to fight corruption. Endi
