Albanian police destroy 1,042 cannabis roots

Albanian police destroyed 1,042 roots of cannabis sativa on Friday in Shkodra, north of Albania and started investigations to identify perpetrators.

Sources from Shkodra police said that two cases of cultivation of narcotic plants have been hit in Shpor village and Gur i Zi commune, where eight parcels with 820 roots of cannabis sativa were found.

Meanwhile, in Karma village, four parcels with 222 plants of cannabis sativa were found.

In both cases the plants were burned by police force, only a part of them was taken as material evidence. Endit
