Urgent: UN Security Council hails direct talks between Afghan govt, Taliban

The UN Security Council on Friday welcomed the direct talks in Pakistan between representatives of the Afghan government and Taliban, saying the talks represent "a step towards peace and reconciliation" in the country. Endite
