Chinese shooters add two golds at Gwangju Universiade

Chinese shooters added two golds and one silver medal to their medal chart on the last day of shooting at the Gwangju Universiade here on Friday.

As the men's 10m air rifle champion of 2014 Incheon Asian Games and Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, Yang Haoran led the score board of men's 50m rifle three positions individual with 453.8 points.

Yang and his teammates, Zhao Zhonghao and Liu Zhiguo combined for 3,492 points to win the 50m rifle three position team title.

"The Gwangju Universiade is an interesting experience for me, as I have no schedule tomorrow I'll go out and see more of the city," said Yang Haoran.

Wang Zhiwei collected his third silver medal as he lost 0.2 points to Davaakhuu Enkhtaivan from Mongolia in men's 10m air pistol final. Wang also had a bronze in men's 50m pistol.

Consisting of 17 shooters, team China took part in 12 events and shot down 17 medals, including eight golds, six silvers and three bronzes in Gwangju.

Andrea Vescovi of Italy topped the men's double trap individual and Italy also claimed the team title.

The host triumphed in men's 10m air pistol team with 1,722 points. Endi
